Argox PI-1060 & Tag-60 (PI-GO)

A UHF RFID asset paging / locating solution

This very useful light-weight UHF RFID asset paging and locating solution from Argox is a smart way for users to find, pick, retrieve, organise and keep track of packaged and other goods in busy warehousing, storage, delivery, courier, repair, takeout and catering environments. Comprising the Argox handy paging terminal PI-1060 and the Tag-60 (PI-GO), it’s also helpful in locating items such as luggage, bags, coats, parts and so on, quickly and simply. With its 100 metre paging power, one scan of the area triggers the tag buzzer and LED lights.

The Tag-60 features bright LED lights (blue & red) and a distinctive 80 decibel programmable buzzer, triggered from a single scan. This makes it easy to identify items even in the dark or low light. The tag has a CR-2032 coin battery (1 year standby minimum), a drop rating of 1.5 metres, with dimensions of 145mm (L) x 55mm (W) x 26mm (H).

Applications of the PI-1060 terminal include warehousing & storage, delivery, courier, appliance/3C products repair shop identifications, catering/takeout order identification and parts/material identifications. For 500 tags to be on the tracking list, it takes less than 50kb memory, but PL-1060 has 16MB DRAM & 20MB F-ROM base memory – so there is ample room for more in users’ application programs plus users’ databases.
